The photojournalist genre - Photojournalism - has
during its short existence,
developed a strong originality, generally formed by humanism and broad
spirit, largely thanks to a cosmopolitically coloured group of professionals.
One may include several highly talented photojournalists. Some
of them like;
Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, Lennart Nilsson, Eugene Smith,
Margaret Bourke-White, Lewis Heine and others, have reached their fame
far exceeding the domain of photography. The talent and experience to
see
and properly evaluate the moments of explanation, will become in their
narration particularly significant.
We are today offered news-pictures day and night, at an increasingly
rapid
tempo, from all around the world. Therefore it feels specially important,
to be able to bring into focus the tradition of descriptive photojournalism,
with just the pictures of the "Moment décisif" as expression.
Then,
the theme of
Journal reflex
under continuous formation.
